Many people want their site to Dmoz, but I never bothered to submit my site there. Ill look to the future itself.

bingo! this is why i do not ever bother DMOZ and why i do not put any faith in corporate websites and their affiliations.

its the same reason i do not use any social networks. everyone out there now have twitter, facebook, google+ and all these others buttons on their sites - your helping make them billionaires/millionaires - while they steal all your info, sell it to corporate interests who use it to entrap you, enslave you, and invade your privacy and strip your rights more and more every day

just remember this when you hit the like button for facebook and you link them to your site - your helping them get more rank and more control.
