Re: Which sitemap format is bettr xml or txt? I do not know what is best, I use XML because it is only what I've always used. Txt file I know works well enough for Yahoo, so I guess it is better to have both.

Re: Which sitemap format is bettr xml or txt? Obviously XMl sitemap is better than TXT because XML sitemap is search engines friendly sitemap and then main advantage of XML sitemap to Google will help them crawl and index your site's pages effectively and faster.

Re: Which sitemap format is bettr xml or txt? Both the site maps have there own uses. The XML site maps are used nor search engines crawlers so that they can navigate the site links easily. Text site map are for users that can contain URL along with some description about the URL.
