 Re: What is Important for Google? Well from recent updates from Google it suggests that social media presence is really important for a website to rank well in Google. Fresh and unique content also matters a lot.

Inbound links as the most powerful key to improve our site and network to promote the quality of the traffic. You can exchange links with other webmasters reverse, or ask the site owner to provide your backlinks.

Google wants good stuff on the web and that peple can find what they want (not what you want to sell) - This is why google is the most used search engine -people look there when they want to find things (not find the best SEO player)
