Niche is defined a specialized corner of the market.
Niche website is easy to get on first page, where as general website is difficult to get on first page.
therefore Less traffic = less money.

Non-Niche is general website that contains all the information. Revenue can be generated more then niche website and you can get high traffic also.

I would divide it up into direct mail, newspapers, PPC, Banner Ads, etc. I would spend a little more money in the direct mail by contacting list brokers to target my message to likely consumers of my product/service.
